Our Rowing Regatta is a fun and accessible way to do something new while raising vital funds for Highland Hospice . We are delighted to be partnering once again with Inverness Rowing Club to deliver this year’s Rowing Regatta on Saturday 12th September. This event is designed especially for complete beginners. Teams of four novice rowers are fully supported throughout, with a coxswain from Inverness Rowing Club guiding each boat on race day. No rowing experience is needed — just a willingness to give it a go. To make sure you feel prepared, your team will take part in four weeks of coached training sessions, helping you build skills, confidence, and team spirit ahead of the regatta. Many teams tell us the training is just as rewarding as race day itself. The event is open to groups of friends, colleagues, sports teams, and families, and each team is challenged to raise £1,500 to support the compassionate care Highland Hospice provides to patients and families across the Highlands. You’ll be supported every step of the way — from your first training session to crossing the finish line.
