"SONDER: Sonder is a noun meaning "the realisation that each random passer-by is living a life as vivid and complex as your own". This artwork uses representations of some of the memorable experiences that make up a persons life events and 'the pieces' of their heart. While these depictions are individual to the artist, at least some of these will be familiar to all other individuals viewing it, who will have their own relationship and experiences associated with those objects. Selecting these images involved considerable reflection on what events, big and small, happy and sad, have shaped who I am and it is hoped that it will invoke a similar contemplation in those viewing it."
