My Story
For my 70th Birthday I have taken on the ultimate bucket list challenge, bungee jumping as an amputee over 160ft at iconic Loch Ness, raising vital funds for Highland Hospice.
“To me the Hospice is so important to have here in the Highlands. The care, fantastic treatment, dignity and most importantly love from all the staff that was shown to not only my aunt but the whole family will never be forgotten.🌻
Becoming an amputee was the best thing that ever happened to me, I've always been adventurous so losing my leg gave me my life back as I'm now pain free. I'm always up for taking on new challenges and would encourage other amputees to sign up too!”
I also love gardening, swimming, and adding to my tattoo collection, my favourite one being a a tribute to my surgeon Mr Wolf which reads "Mr Wolf saved my life" and a Shark at my stump which reads "Gotcha”
Every penny raised helps Highland Hospice continue to care and support their patients and families across the Highlands when they need them most. All donations are so gratefully received, thank you Lorna" x
